We have a remote opportunity for a Specialized Hospital Pro-Fee Coding Auditor with a minimum of 5 years of current coder auditing experience in both minor and major procedures/surgeries for either Orthopedics, Cardiology/Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, Hospitalist, and/or Neurology/Neurosurgery. The Specialized Hospital Pro-Fee Coding Auditor will be able to notice when provider codes/documentation are accurate for the coders and have strong E/M level services. In addition to strong E/M level services, the Specialized Hospital Pro-Fee Coding Auditor must have strong, high-level experience in both minor and major procedures/surgeries at a Level I Teaching Hospital setting. Shift schedule is Monday – Friday, regular business hours, EST. Job Qualification
  • Required – Minimum 5 years’ experience, and current Hospital Pro Fee Coding Auditing experience in a specific speciality that includes major procedure/surgery experience
  • Required – Minimum 5 years’ experience, and current Hospital Pro Fee Coding experience that includes E/M services and charts for both minor and major surgeries
  • Required – CPC
  • Required – CPMA and/or CPC-I (AAPC Approved Instructor) certified
  • Preferred – Specialty coding certification
  • Required – Current EPIC and 3M 360 experience
